Ok, this is one of the few petty things about the presidential conventions that I’ll write about. I’m a bit bothered by all of the cheap shots that came from the speeches during the GOP convention. I’m too lazy to look up the entire speeches to get quotes, but Palin made a jab at the DNC and said something about putting away the styrofoam columns (that were used on the stage at the DNC).
Umm…’k. What does a stage set up have to do with politics? If McCain-Palin want to ‘go there’, then see my earlier post about the GOP using the wrong image in the background. Oh, and what about the tacky green screen behind McCain? Then it was some weird shade of blue with some random flag on a pole, and at one point a cross of some sort. WTF??
If I had to pick one politician based on set design, then Obama wins – hands down!
